That depends on your condition, but most cases do not require an x-ray. Research has shown for the majority of back and neck pain cases X-Rays are not helpful in diagnosis or treatment. If you do require an X-Ray you will be given a requisition to a CMA. CMA is an X-Ray clinic with many locations throughout Ottawa. Your X-Ray will be covered by OHIP.
